Andreas and his team are wonderful and the work is superb! I had him remove an old set of concrete steps in Georgetown, pour new concrete steps and add beautiful slate to the top of each step. They are absolutely exactly what I wanted and beautiful. Andreas was a joy to work with and listened to my every question and concern. They worked so quickly and left everything neat as can be. And his prices were extremely fair. I would recommend him whole heartedly!

We are happy to recommend Andreas Mitsingas and Metropolitan Paint and Home Improvement. We first called on Metropolitan in 2004 and they painted the entire exterior of our house and repaired plaster in ceiling in basement, and painted the ceiling with matching texture paint. They also power washed all our decks, stained and treated them. We were very pleased with their work. We called Metropolitan again in 2011 when we needed some wooden siding and fencing replaced and painted. We were satisfied with their work. If you are not satisfied with any part of a job, Andreas willingly makes whatever changes necessary to make sure the customer is satisfied. We would certainly use Metropolitan again.

I have used Andreas and his company, Metropolitan Paint & Home Improvement for many years and many projects. From carpentry, drywall and painting to flooring (tile, refinished hardwood) and even a bathroom remodel, if you know what you want and are looking for quality installation and service, Andreas is your guy. Reputable, reliable and with good prices he provides a very nice supplement to my own DIY capabilities. I've used Andreas for the work I couldn't or wouldn't do myself, while saving a lot relative to full-service, high-end firms. Go get what you want from Home Deport or Lowes and Andreas will install it for you and make it right. I get to shop and enjoy the result, Andreas does the work!

We have used Metropolitan's services for several paint jobs both exterior and interior over the past 12 years. We have always been satisfied with the quality of their work, particularly since they pay diligent attention to surface preparation before commencing painting. We received a few estimates to have our front walkway redone, and some interior painting. Andreas came at the recommendation of a friend. He was the best priced, very knowledgeable and great to work with. He did a great job with the paint and walkway, and he also helped us fix a few issues with leaks that had damaged ceiling paint. We have recommended him to friends, and will definitely work with him again!

Andreas was highly skilled, personable and prompt. My rental townhouse needed a lot of work, because my tenant had abused it and Andreas could do it all and did so at a very reasonable price! I thought so highly of the work he did and enjoyed working with him so much that I asked him to do some work at my home.

Mr. Mitsingas and his crew does excellent work. He has put in a slate patio for me, ceramic tile, light fixtures, wood floors, repaired wall, painted, and even put together furniture. He is also very pleasant to work with and reliable, and his prices are reasonable. I recommend him without any hesitation!

We've used Metropolitan Paint and Home Improvement over the past few years for various jobs, including interior and exterior house painting, electrical work, and several major home repairs. We've always been impressed by their high work quality, integrity, and professionalism and reasonable prices. They did the work right the first time and they even proposed good alternatives that ended up serving our needs better than what we originally had in mind. They were able to fix a particularly challenging electrical problem that had stumped a number of other services. Metropolitan is also fastidious about covering up surfaces while working and cleaning up after the job is done. I would certainly recommend Metropolitan to anyone regardless of whether their job is large or small!

We first employed this company over 10 years ago to paint the exterior of our then 35 year old house. They used high quality paint, were careful in their work and got done in a timely fashion. It was a great job! Subsequently, they have painted inside our home, replaced plasterboard and worked on a kitchen upgrade that needed new lighting fixtures before the painting could be started. They are timely and will meet crucial timelines. We have had them do work here at least 4 times in the 29 years we have been at this home and have no reservations about recommending them.

We have had Andreas at Metropolitan Paint and Home Improvement do work for us for over 6 years and have been very pleased with the work he has done on our house. Andreas is easy to work with and really knows what he is doing. The painting was done with a great deal of preparation which I liked. We had the house painted outside and inside and it was a very professional job which has lasted well. He also did our kitchen, installing appliances, stone counters and tile, along with painting and did an excellent job. He designed and installed a stone patio in the back yard that is very stylish. I recommend him not only for painting but for stone and tile work and other remodeling jobs like kitchen installations.
